Workshops
The Ombuds Office offers a variety of workshops designed to help improve conflict management and communication skills, build trust and team cohesion, foster understanding of different behavior styles, and more. The registration for most of the workshops are available through the UC Learning Center.

Additionally, we offer tailored trainings to groups or work teams to address their specific needs. Tailored trainings start with an individual session to discuss the details of the request. The ombuds will make a determination on whether a workshop can be offered based on several factors, including office capacity and relevance. It is not uncommon for another Ombuds Office service or other campus resource to potentially be more effective for the presenting concerns.

Presentations
The Ombuds Office also offers informational presentations about the office’s services to groups and work teams. Presentations typically are between 5 to 20 minutes long. They include a description of the office, the services the Ombuds Office offers, and how to get in contact. You can schedule a presentation for your group by calling (530) 754-7233 or (916) 734-1600. We may ask to schedule an individual meeting with you to discuss the details of your request.
