Join the UC Davis Ombuds Office for a webinar conversation with Dylan Marron, creator of the podcast and book “Conversations with People Who Hate Me.”

It can feel impossible to communicate with someone with sharply opposing views on issues you care about whether it’s an international, national, or campus issue. This event will provide an opportunity for UC Davis undergraduate and graduate students to learn from an award-winning writer and producer about bridging and finding connection across difference.

This Q&A-style webinar may cover topics, such as

  • How to remain authentic while managing your own reaction when you strongly disagree
  • How to dialogue in a way that bridges divisive issues
  • How to ask questions to unlock what really matters for you and the other person

The conversation will be tailored to the interests of the participants. Upon registration, you will have an opportunity to submit your own questions for the moderators to ask Dylan Marron.

Register here before October 28 to guarantee your seat. Maximum participants: 300
