Katie Ranney

Katie Ranney, MA serves as the Assistant Ombuds in the UC Davis Ombuds Office. Katie holds a Master’s Degree in Communication with a Graduate Certificate in Peace and Conflict Resolution from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. She graduated summa cum laude from Santa Clara University for her undergraduate studies. Prior to joining UC Davis in 2024, she served as the Program Development Director and in other roles at The Mediation Center of the Pacific in Honolulu for 7 1/2 years. Previous to that, she was an independent facilitator assisting non-profit organizations and state agencies.
