Welcome to the Ombuds Office
The Ombuds Office is an informal and confidential resource designed to help members of the UC Davis, UC Davis Health (UCDH), and UC Agriculture and Natural Resources (UC ANR) communities successfully navigate conflict and difficult situations. Our mission is to provide a place for all members of the UC Davis, UCDH, and UC ANR communities to discover pathways for conflict management and problem solving in support of fair and collaborative professional and academic experiences in a changing world.
People come to our office for many reasons. For example, they might:
- feel stuck and want someone to talk to about solutions
- have concerns about others, including their behaviors or communication
- be unsure where to go or what their options are
- be worried about how things are being addressed
- have tried other ways to get help but have not found what they need
No matter how big or small your issue, you can contact the Ombuds Office as a first step, a last resort, or anywhere along the way.
